On Wednesday Cramer recommended BB&T (BBT), a strong, conservative, Southern bank with a 6.36% yield. He said it will reap the rewards of the FDIC’s new strategy for dealing with failing banks, allowing strong banks like BB&T to pick up great assets from failing entities.
