On Thursday Cramer praised First Solar (FSLR) and said it was one of the only companies that actually grew the top line. He also praised his “four horsemen of tech” – Apple (AAP), Amazon.com (AMZN), Research In Motion (RIMM) and Google (GOOG) – for their growth because of better sales and lower costs, rather than just trimming the “fat” as many other companies have been doing.

On Wednesday’s show, Cramer cautioned viewers against making any comparisons between the economic situation in America right now with the 82% drop in Japan’s Nikkei average between 1989 and 2008. Cramer said that there are many important differences between the two countries, such as an increasing population for the US versus stagnant growth for Japan, as well as continued spending here versus a cessation of spending in Japan during its meltdown.

On Monday’s “Mad Money” show Cramer said there are two ways to play the oil tanker business: Nordic American Tanker (NAT) and Frontline (FRO). Both companies pay healthy dividend yields, 8.2% for Nordic American, and 5.2% for Frontline. Cramer said the tanker business “is no longer a dog.”
